The innovative enterprise “Baikal Biotechnology Center” intends to launch the production of innovative collagen-laminated matrices “SheneSkin” in 2020.

The live skin analogue has the appearance of a sterile transparent film. Wound healing remedy will help with burns, trophic ulcers, bedsores, frostbite and nonhealing wounds. The drug can be used in clinics, hospitals and can be sold in pharmacies for self-use. According to project manager Yury Balkhanov, this is a unique product that distinguishes itself through economical production and long-term storage - about a year. At present time the reconstruction of industrial premises has begun in accordance with the international GMP standards, on the basis of the republican industrial park.
